Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent Semi-final

The singing sensation from West Lothian, Scotland performed last night in the semi-final round of Britain's Got Talent. She sang wonderfully, and looked really nice with a new haircut and color, and a dress that better suited her than the one she wore in the audition round. What really shone through is her honest and gracious attitude toward the judges and audience. She is taking only the best parts of her new fame.

She is quite an inspirtational lady and has remained humbled and real.
The tone of her voice is so sweet and pure.
My only constructive criticism would be that since she was understandably nervous, she was half a beat ahead of the music for much of the performance.
She should slow down and take her time. We're all rooting for her.

What thing that I love about Susan Boyle, that hardly anyone mentions, is how appropriate her song choices are for her life. The first song talked about a "dream." Now, with her latest piece, the lyrics ring with "a new day has began." I truly believe that part of her success is not only how well she can sing, but while she does, the lyrics tells her story. On a website I like to visit called Newsy.com, one of the quotes talk about how incredible it is to see the media and the world loving and supporting someone who isn't your typical supermodel. Maybe mass media and advertising will finally get a clue. http://www.newsy.com/videos/susan_boyle_s_time_to_shine_again

The first time, nobody was expecting that beautiful voice. To hear that wonderful voice as a big surprise was amazing.

This time, EVERYONE was expecting a killer performance. It was a good performance, of course - but nobody could have reached the expectations.

That being said, I wish Ms. Boyle all the best - I feel she'll be a fixture in entertainment for many years to come.

@BrotherMichael -- Umm, no she wasn't. The melody is syncopated.
