Happy New Year (in song)

Rhe De Ville and Kevin MacLeod put the "happy" in the New Year. I hope yours is just as joyful.

Is it supposed to be bad? If so, it succeeded.

Fantastic song! It's about time for a new New Year song. Thanks for posting this!

Unbelievable! I don't see a single thing wrong with this video at all... It's all really good. I guess there is just no way to please some people. It's an incredibly positive and uplifting effort and the song itself is really festive and catchy. I hope it becomes a New Year's classic

Mind you, the downloadable version is profoundly better in quality and it's only 99 cents for crying out loud. Do yourself a favour and get a copy at Google checkout at https://checkout.google.com/view/buy?o=shoppingcart&shoppingcart=141233708646913&pli=1

It's offkey, offtone, she really doesn't have a good voice, video is poorly produced, amaturish and it'll be forgotten in days. But that's my professional opinion.

The haters are out tonight! Happy New Year to you, Simon C. Hope it's filled with joy.

Perhaps not everyone is fortunate enough to have millions of dollars to pump into their videos that are massaged and filtered to death, until it becomes something other than their own voices or their own talent.

Just listen to some "so called" great artists live and you easily see the real genius was actually the engineers in the background working their magic on mediocre input.

This lady is the real deal and is demonstrating real, pure and unadulterated talent.

But then... losers hate... winners create.

I agree with Alicia, because this singer doesn't have millions of dollars, she's also mediocre. Hmm...slightly lower than mediocre.

Simon,

You don't agree with me at all... you just twisted my words to suit your agenda. I think she is absolutely great and am sure she will make it big one day. I also realise that YouTube compresses the heck out of video and audio to such a degree, it doesn't really reflect the input quality. That's not an opinion... just a fact. I downloaded the official mp3 and it is of much higher quality. I've played it to many people this holiday season and have not heard a single bad remark... just "I love it... where do I buy this".

The same negative things have always been said in regard to just about every major artist when they were just starting out and some is still said about those who have obviously "made it". I guess there will always be haters... professional and otherwise.
