I didn’t know SO many of the usual suspects could not access this site last week. Thanks to a couple of you who contacted me, I went through and pulled anything that might have caused it. Turns out it was the Blogger Boobiethon button that caused browsers to blow. Sorry about that. The Boobiethon is over for this year, but If you want to show off your support for Breast Cancer Research, you could get something from the The CafePress Breast Cancer Donation Shop. These shirts also make great gifts for a woman you love.
BLOGGER NEWS AND GOSSIP
Its the end of an era as Phil Jacobsen leaves Antarctica for good. I hope he’ll continue to write about his adventures in the South Pacific and Europe. As one leaves, another returns. Rocky Jay is back from a couple of months in the hospital! He hasn’t yet explained what happened, but he came close to dying. Go wish him well! Congratulations to Andrew of the Gunsmoke Files, who passed his US citizenship test! Yay! And Vickie is out of the hospital! Now that the great worry is over, there is talk about why she had that severe asthma attack in the first place.

How much is your blog worth?
Yeah, yeah, some of you may remember I had this on my old site, and it said $6 million. But this time I didn’t change the html!
Jamie Dawn asked her readers to suggest words and phrase for a poem and she’d make a complete poem out of them. We made it as difficult for her as possible, but she managed to cobble together this masterpiece.

Congessman Mark Foley is making Jon Stewart’s job very easy lately.
The followup is here. Bonanza Jellybean suggested new minimum standards for Congress members. And Lorrie at Clueless in Carolina wrote a poem about it!
Goth Help Us is a site for charitable giving for Goths. I can’t find a particular charity they are supporting; apparently that is up to local chapters. Its a fairly new organization. Right now they are asking for volunteers and for people to organize local chapters.

Get ready to laugh, or dance, or something. I wish I could stop my kids from going to this. (Thanks, Bill!)
Blog of the Day: Stand in a Queue. In the US, we would call it “stand in line” and we’d also spell queue as que if we had to spell it at all. But this is a really funny blog about the inordinate amount of time people spend waiting in line and the adventures he/she has while doing it.
